What is Bacteriostatic Water 10mL?

Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water containing 0.9% (9 mg/mL) benzyl alcohol added as a preservative. It is supplied in a 10mL multi-dose vial. The preservative allows the sealed vial to maintain its sterility characteristics as described by the manufacturer’s labeling.

What’s in it?

It contains sterile water and 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative, with a pH typically in the range of 4.5 to 7.0, per the manufacturer’s specifications.

What size is the vial?

Each vial contains 10mL and is a multi-dose vial supplied in original manufacturer packaging.

Is this the same as sterile water?

No. Sterile water contains no preservative, while bacteriostatic water includes benzyl alcohol as a preservative. We currently offer Bacteriostatic Water 10mL.

How is the product packaged for shipping?

The product ships in its original manufacturer packaging without temperature-controlled packaging and is intended to be stored at room temperature per the manufacturer’s labeling. To limit time in transit, you may choose an expedited shipping method at checkout.

Will I get tracking?

Orders & Returns

What is your return policy?

Unopened, unused products in original sealed packaging may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery with prior authorization. Opened, used, transferred, or combined products are not returnable. See our Returns & Refund Policy for full details.

Why are opened or combined products non-returnable?

For safety and product-integrity reasons, products that have been opened, used, or combined with any other substance cannot be returned, and concerns based solely on the condition of a mixture after opening may not qualify for a refund.
